Abstract

The invention provides an electric wettability display and a manufacturing method thereof. The electric wettability display comprises a first basal plate and a second basal plate. A plurality of first conductive electrodes are formed on the first basal plate. A second conductive layer is formed on the second basal layer, and is isolated from and not contacted with the first conductive electrodes,thereby forming an enclosure space between the second basal plate and the first basal plate. A plurality of display units are formed on the first conductive electrodes. Each display unit is formed between one of the first conductive electrodes and the second conductive layer. Every two adjacent display units are separated by a separator. At least two display units comprise a first material and a second material arranged on the first material. At least two display units have more than two different colors. The shape of the first material can change along with the change of an electric field, and the electric field is positioned between the first conductive electrodes and the second conductive layer.
