Abstract

The invention relates to a thermoplastic elastomer composition for bonding PA and a preparation method thereof. The composition is prepared with the following raw materials by weight percentage: 20-30 percent of maleic anhydride grafted POE (POE-g-MAH), 5-15 percent of EVA, 5-20 percent of SEBS., 10-20 percent of extending oil, 10-30 percent of PA6., 2-5 percent of SEBS-g-MAH., 0-20 percent of activated calcium carbonate and 0.1-0.5 percent of antioxidant. The preparation method comprises the following steps: weighing the raw materials according to the weight ratio; mixing the SEBS and petrolatum oil in a high-speed mixer, adding other raw materials, mixing and discharging; and extruding the well mixed raw materials for granulation. The thermoplastic elastomer prepared in the invention not only can be well bonded with PA and PA reinforced materials, but also can be used for producing sheathes of the handles of electric tools, household products and the like through hardness adjustment according to the requirements of customers.
