Abstract

Provided is a solar battery inspecting apparatus which inspects and judges conformity of a solar battery based on light emitting state by making the solar battery emit EL light and also judges conformity of a solar battery having a possibility to be a failure in the future. A defect judging method is also provided. A solar battery cell is supplied with a constant current to make the cell emit EL light (S7), light emitted from the cell is photographed by each cell (S10), a photographed cell image is emphatically processed to analyze the shape of a dark section (S50), and conformity of the cellis judged. An emphasized image wherein a defective section judged as having a trouble is emphasized is visibly displayed (S16).
