Abstract

The present invention provides a sound control apparatus. An IC recorder (100) includes a direction accepting portion to accept designation of any one of lift, right and middle directions if any one of left button (108C), a right button (108D) and an upper button (108A) of a cross key (107C) is pressed; a display control portion to display a plurality of direction marks respectively indicating the left, right and middle directions in an LCD (135); and a directivity control portion to control directivity of sounds respectively obtained by a plurality of microphones (1L, 1R) based on the plurality of microphones (1L, 1R) arranged at a distance away from each other and an accepted direction. The display control portion allows to display a direction mark corresponding to the direction in such a manner as to be enhanced as compared with any other direction mark in the LCD (135).
