Abstract

The invention discloses a sorting system of irregular goods and a sorting method thereof. The sorting system comprises multiple goods throwing and conveying units, a gathering conveyor and a goods conveying roller channel. A second infrared transmitting and receiving device, a cross beam on which a radio frequency card reader is hung, an information processing unit, a printer, a labeling device and a sorting opening conveyor are arranged on the goods conveying roller channel in turn. A camera is arranged at the upper side of the goods conveying roller channel. The goods throwing and conveyingunits comprise goods throwing conveyors and goods arranging devices. A first infrared transmitting and receiving device and a blocking beam are arranged on the goods throwing conveyors. An LED sign and a goods pushing device are arranged at the good entrance of each sorting opening conveyor. Multiple card readers are divided into multiple rows from up to down and arranged in a net shape. The sorting system of the irregular goods and the sorting method thereof in the invention have the advantages of low cost, capability of sorting the different types of the goods and the goods of which the shapes are irregular, and high sorting efficiency.
