A user terminal visits an application page through a browser, wherein the application page comprises a plurality of fonts of characters; non-default fonts of characters and font names corresponding to the characters in the application page are counted, small word stock file request information is sent to a server, wherein the small word stock file request information carries the non-default fonts of characters and the font names corresponding to the characters in the application page, the server returns the corresponding small word stock file according to the non-default fonts of characters and the font names corresponding to the characters in the application page, wherein each small word stock comprises types of all characters using the same font in the application page; and the small word stock files returned by the server are received and installed, and the application page is displayed through multiple fonts. The embodiment of the invention also provides the corresponding user terminal and the server.
