The invention relates to a traditional Chinese medicine for treatment of edema, which consists of raw materials of the following parts by weight: 8-15 parts of semen coicis, 12-18 parts of radix angelicae, 12-18 parts of rhizoma atractylodis alba, 8-15 parts of Tuckahoe, 12-18 parts of semen euryales, 12-18 parts of cattail pollen, 12-18 parts of lygodium japonicum and 12-18 parts of cortex lycii radicis. The traditional Chinese herbs are mixed in a coordinated way to achieve the effects of tonifying the spleen, removing dampness and eliminating swelling. The total efficiency in treatment is 97 percent. Moreover, the cost is low and no toxic or side effects are found.
