Abstract

The invention discloses a multi-way mixed video processing device based on a PC (Personal Computer). The multi-way mixed video processing device comprises an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) module, an ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) module and a DVI (Digital Video Interactive) output module, wherein the FPGA module is used for transmitting a desk top video data stream to the ASIC module to scale; the ASIC module is used for returning the scaled desk video data stream to the FPGA module; and the FPGA module is used for scaling a video signal source data stream, then overlapping the scaled video signal source data steam with the returned desk video data stream, and finally transmitting the overlapped data stream to the DVI output module to accept DVI encoding. According to the multi-way mixed video processing device based on the PC, the FPGA logic implementation technology serves as the basis, a plurality of logic circuits of which the functions can just be implemented by special chips are integrated, and therefore, the multi-way mixed video can be scaled and overlapped; the function of conventional display card can be replaced during processing the multi-way mixed video; and the FPGA logic implementation technology is adopted, which is easily implemented by the hardware; and the multi-way mixed video processing device based on the PC is low in cost.
