Abstract

According to the method, in accordance with the basic theory of the phytophysiology and the plant nutrition, the chlormequat chloride and a nitrogen, potassium and calcium compound fertilizer are dressed on the leaves of the pear tree while the chemical control is carried out, and thus the leaf nutrition is increased, the leaf senescence and falling are delayed; and through three-year continuous tests, the control rate of the early leaf falling of the pear tree is increased to 65-80 percent.
