Problems solved by technology

However, the safety issue of the vacuum robot has always been a very important issue in the application
However, the above method is suitable for mobile robots such as service robots, and it is only necessary to install a distance sensor on the front of the robot and the service robot always moves in the front direction, while the manipulator of the vacuum robot cannot install such a sensor, and the vacuum manipulator The direction of movement is front and back, if distance sensors are used in four directions at the same time, the cost will be too high

Abstract

The invention discloses a robot anti-collision protection device based on machine vision, which comprises a robot, a shooting device for taking pictures, and a warning device. The warning device comprises a warning light and a buzzer. The robot comprises a parameter setting module, a processing module, a judging module and an execution module; the parameter setting module used for setting parameters, wherein the parameters comprises a default photo; the processing module is used for processing a photo taken by the shooting device; the judging module is used for comparing a processed photo to the default photo and judging whether a foreign object is close to the robot; and the execution module is used for taking different measures to the robot according to the compared result of the judging module: when the foreign object is located in a first area value, the warning light flickers a first color, when the foreign object is located in a second area value, the warning light flickers a second color, and the buzzer alarms, and when the foreign object is located in a third area value, the warning light is constantly on with the second color, the buzzer constantly alarms and the robot stops moving. The invention further provides a robot anti-collision protection method based on machine vision.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an anti-collision protection device and method, in particular to a robot anti-collision protection device and method based on machine vision. Background technique [0002] In general, robots are widely used in electronic products, such as the automotive industry, plastics industry, pharmaceutical industry, and food industry, to complete operations such as handling, assembly, spraying, and welding to replace manual operations, thereby improving production efficiency . [0003] For example, a vacuum robot is used to process silicon wafers in a special clean environment, and its main function is to realize the fast, efficient and reliable transfer of silicon wafers between different stations. However, the safety issue of the vacuum robot has always been a very important issue in application. When the robot works with people or other equipment, accidental collision will cause great damage to the robot body or surrounding equipmen...
