Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a network node of a wireless network, and a related method for determining the margin of interference level. The network node controls at least one white space device, and the interference level is associated with the critical position and the channel that can be used for the secondary use of at least one white space device. The method comprises the following steps: (a) initialization margin (410) ;(b) based on the interference level of the margin, determines the transmit power level of at least one blank space device when transmitted on a channel available for secondary use (420) ;(c) based on the determined transmit power level and channel model uncertainty calculates the probability of the total interference from at least one blank space device at a critical position exceeding the interference level (430); and (d) if the calculated probability falls outside the probability interval, Then modify the margin of the interference level (440).
