Abstract

The invention discloses a method for synchronously determining contents of tetravalent vanadium and pentavalent vanadium in a culture medium in situ; and the method is used for researching the strength of the oxidization effect of microorganisms to the tetravalent vanadium and the reduction effect to the pentavalent vanadium in the beef extract peptone fluid culture medium. The method builds a chromogenic reaction system (comprising reaction reagent amount, adding sequence, chromogenic time and other conditions) through regulating the formula of the culture medium, and compares the changes of absorbance curves of the culture medium before and after the microorganism effects by using the spectrophotometry to achieve the synchronous in-situ determination of the tetravalent vanadium and the pentavalent vanadium in the culture medium. The method has the characteristics of low equipment requirements, simple operation, accurate determination, good reproducibility and the like, and is specifically suitable for qualitatively and quantitatively researching the redox capcity of the microorganisms to the vanadium.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for measuring tetravalent and pentavalent vanadium in a culture medium. The method realizes the in-situ simultaneous determination of the tetravalent and pentavalent vanadium in the culture medium, and is used for qualitative and quantitative determination of the oxidation-reduction effect of microorganisms on vanadium. Background technique [0002] As an environmental heavy metal pollutant, vanadium is attracting more and more people's attention, and reports related to vanadium continue to appear. In addition to hoping to understand the situation of vanadium content in the environment, people begin to study the different valence states of vanadium. Vanadium has a wide range of oxidation-reduction reactions in nature, and a very important part of it is completed by microorganisms. Therefore, it is of great significance to identify which microorganisms can carry out the oxidation-reduction effect of vanadium and the int...
