Abstract

The invention provides application of trehalose in preservation of anaerobic ammonia oxidation granular sludge, and a method for preserving the anaerobic ammonia oxidation granular sludge. The application comprises the steps of collecting anaerobic ammonia oxidation granular sludge, and cleaning the anaerobic ammonia oxidation granular sludge for 3-5 times through an inorganic salt buffer solution; adding water and trehalose in a sealed container, wherein volume dosage of the water is 0.8-1.2 times as much as volume of the sludge and addition of the trehalose is 1-5% of total mass; transferring the cleaned sludge into the sealed container, aerating in argon atmosphere for 20-30min, sealing the container so that the sealed container is under an anaerobic condition, and preserving at minus 20-60 DEG C. The application disclosed by the invention has the main beneficial effects of (1) widening application field of the trehalose; (2) offering a new anaerobic ammonia oxidation granular sludge preservation method; and (3) providing a simple preservation system and a stable preservation environment, thus being convenient and environment-friendly.
