Problems solved by technology

However, their implementation under the parallel programmable structure still has the problem of high complexity: their selection of constellations, processing calculations, and elimination of three steps will cause irregular data flow
[0006] The BSS-EFE algorithm has good performance in high-order modulation and will be very suitable for 256QAM, but its performance is poor for low-order modulation

Abstract

The invention discloses an MIMO-OFDM (Multiple Input Multiple Output-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) system based detection method and device so as to enable different detection modes to be flexibly utilized according to different modulation modes through a system. The MIMO-OFDM system based detection method comprises performing detection on high-order modulation signals received by a first detection method and performing detection on low-order modulation signal received by a second detection method, wherein the first detection algorithm is suitable for a parallel programmable structure and the defects of the first detection algorithm in the low-order modulation signal detection are overcome by the second detection algorithm. According to the MIMO-OFDM system based detection method and device, rates required by different conditions can be supported by the different modulation modes, the different detection methods are adopted according to the different modulation modes, and accordingly the performance of the system can be improved on the premise of simple implementation.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of wireless communication, more specifically, to a signal detection method and device for a system combining multiple input multiple output (Multiple Input Multiple Output, MIMO) technology and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) technology . Background technique [0002] The future mobile communication system requires as many users as possible within a certain frequency band, and the data transmission rate will reach 10-100Mbits / s. In order to meet the above requirements, the combination of MIMO technology and OFDM technology was also proposed for the first time in 4G technology, which will be one of the core technologies of the next generation wireless communication technology. MIMO technology and OFDM technology provide possible solutions to two severe challenges of future wireless communication - spectrum utilization and reliability of information transm...
