The use method comprises the following steps: penetrating the ultrahigh frequency sensor through a grounding wire of a high-voltage cable; penetrating a current sensor through the high-voltage cable; enabling the partial discharge live detector to be in tight contact with an epoxy body so as to realize partial discharge live detection or real-time monitoring on the GIS cable terminal. With the combination of high frequency detection, ultrasonic wave detection and ultrahigh frequency detection, a power frequency current sensor is adopted as the charge power supply and a phase position signal, correlation of quadrant phase positions I and III and correlation of 100 Hz are taken as judgment criterions, a columnar display manner is adopted, and the device can give out an alarm signal when the value exceeds an alarm value.
