A high-voltage cable (HV cable) is a cable used for electric power transmission at high voltage. A cable includes a conductor and insulation, and is suitable for being run underground or underwater. This is in contrast to an overhead line, which does not have insulation. High-voltage cables of differing types have a variety of applications in instruments, ignition systems, and alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) power transmission. In all applications, the insulation of the cable must not deteriorate due to the high-voltage stress, ozone produced by electric discharges in air, or tracking. The cable system must prevent contact of the high-voltage conductor with other objects or persons, and must contain and control leakage current. Cable joints and terminals must be designed to control the high-voltage stress to prevent breakdown of the insulation. Often a high-voltage cable will have a metallic shield layer over the insulation, connected to the ground and designed to equalize the dielectric stress on the insulation layer.

The data collection unit is arranged nearby the high-voltage cable joint and is used for collecting the data transmitted from the sensor and transmitting the date to the network server via a wireless network. The power supply device acquires power from the high-voltage cable and provides power to the data collection unit. The network server is installed in a control room and is used for receiving the data transmitted from the data collection unit in order to determine whether the power cable is in safe operation condition via special data analysis, thereby serving the purpose of helping maintenance personnel monitor the operation condition of the power cable at any time, and preventing the electrical faults from happening. The anti-icing composite coating is coated on the surfaces of components, such as high-voltage cables, iron towers, communication lines, aircrafts and the like, the adhesive force between the inner layer and a substrate can be increased due to the inner layer, icing can be slowed down due to ions ionized by the middle layer, and the adhesive force of ice on the surface and the icing quantity of the surface can be reduced due to the super hydrophobicity of the outer layer. The anti-icing composite coating has excellent bonding force on the substrate and higher heat conductivity, the surface of the outer layer has low surface tension, high hydrophobicity and high icing resistance, and the adhesive force of water and ice can be reduced to the maximum, thus the water and the ice can be easily removed; meanwhile, the middle layer can ionize ions to delay the adhesion of the ice under severe environment, thus the purposes of icing prevention and ice removal are realized. The manufacturing method disclosed by the invention has the advantages of easiness, feasibility, convenience for control, lower cost, and excellent use effect during engineering.

The housing wall of the housing end portion has an engagement portion comprised of a swagable material to secure the housing wall to the insulation jacket in fluid-tight sealed engagement therewith upon inward swaging of the engagement portion of the housing wall of the housing end portion to the insulation jacket to confine the fluid at the residual pressure within the interior chamber and the interstitial void volume. The housing includes at least one axially-projecting engagement member located within the interior chamber at the engagement portion of the housing wall of the housing end portion.

The invention discloses a high-voltage cable insulation defect partial discharge on-line monitoring diagnosis method, which involves analyzing obtained partial discharge data of various actual manufacturing typical defects from the perspectives of time domain waveform characteristics, spectrum distribution differences, separate spectrum analysis and the like, and establishing a discharge database and a comparison database of the various defects. By use of a high-voltage cable partial discharge detection system, through utilizing signal separating technologies including a three-phase amplitude relation atlas, a three-frequency range amplitude relation atlas and the like, pulse current waveform parameter characteristic value integrated information is analyzed, a discharge accumulation spectrum of on-site measuring data and a same-kind characteristic pulsed discharge cluster are formed, and finally a comparison is made between the discharge accumulation spectrum and the same-kind characteristic pulsed discharge cluster and the discharge database of the various defects so as to determine whether insulation defects exist for an on-site running cable line. The method can solve the problem of difficult on-line monitoring diagnosis of insulation defect partial discharge of a conventional cable device, and also can improve the accuracy and sensitivity of high-voltage cable insulation defect partial discharge detection diagnosis.

A high voltage pulse source and a high voltage capacitor are connected in series and are then connected with measuring electrodes at two ends of a tested piece, a high voltage power source is further connected with the measuring electrodes at two ends of the tested piece through a current limit resistor, a piezoelectric sensor closely clings to the lower measuring electrode, the piezoelectric sensor acquires a stress wave signal and sends the processed signal to a computer to form the measuring system, the high voltage power source can be a direct current high voltage power source and further can be an alternating current high voltage power source, the alternating current high voltage power source is connected with a phase detection unit, and a phase detection circuit outputs a synchronous control signal to a pulse generation unit of the high voltage pulse source. The high voltage power source forms space charges in an insulation layer of an electric power cable through electrodes, disturbance of the charges in the insulation layer of the electric power cable is realized through the high voltage pulse source to form dynamic stress waves, the measuring system acquires a signal of a pressure sensor, and a distribution state of the space charges of the electric power cable is analyzed. Through the system and the method, measurement on the distribution state of the space charges in the insulation layer of the electric power cable under the alternating current state is realized.
