Embodiment 1

[0048] as attached Figure 5 As shown, the laser projection display device 1 projects the speckle pattern 2 under uniform illumination on the screen 3, and uses a digital imaging device 4 such as a CCD camera to obtain a digital pattern 5 of the speckle pattern on the screen, and stores it in the computer 6; then , in the block diagram 7, according to the principle described in formula I-V, based on the digital pattern processing method and through programming, the digital pattern 5 obtained is calculated, and the radial power spectral density 8 and angular power spectral density of the digital pattern 5 are respectively obtained 9 and the total power spectral density 10; finally, based on the analysis 11 of the calculated values of the above three physical quantities, the results of speckle measurement evaluation 12 are given.

Embodiment 2

[0072] Such as Figure 6 shown.

[0073] A method for measuring and evaluating speckle in laser projection display as described in Embodiment 1, wherein a laser projection display system is built. The laser is a single-mode green laser 1-1 with a center wavelength of 532nm, and the output laser enters the speckle elimination device 2-2, using two different speckle elimination devices, a rotating diffuser and a speckle attenuator (LSR-3000) , the light beam after passing through the speckle dissipating device enters the rectangular light pipe 3-3 to obtain a rectangular laser beam evenly distributed in space, and then the uniformly distributed light beam passes through the projection lens 4-4 with an F number of 2.5 to project the image onto the screen 5-5 superior. Acquire images with speckle with CCD 6-6. Fixed parameter settings for CCD 6-6.

Abstract

The invention relates to a speckle measuring and evaluating method in laser projection display. A power spectrum density function of a speckle pattern is utilized to evaluate the effect of speckle elimination, and the method comprises the steps that: three one-dimensional physical quantities which are respectively a radial power spectrum density rPSD, an angle power spectrum density aPSD and a total power spectrum density tPSD are defined for the speckle pattern to be measured and evaluated, wherein the three one-dimensional physical quantities respectively reflect speckle granularity, anisotropy and speckle severity in the pattern; and the calculated values of the above three physical quantities are analyzed to provide a speckle measuring and evaluating result. Compared with speckle contrast, the method can analyze the speckle pattern more comprehensive, the speckle severity in the pattern is evaluated, the speckle granularity is measured, and the differences of different speckle elimination methods in speckle elimination in all directions are evaluated. The invention has a great significance on the comparison of different speckle elimination methods and the application of a laser projection display technology.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a measurement and evaluation method and application of speckle in laser projection display, belonging to the technical field of speckle measurement in laser display. Background technique [0002] Laser display uses laser light as the light source, and has the advantages of wide color gamut (the color performance of laser display is more than twice that of flat-panel TV), high brightness, large display size, long life, environmental protection, energy saving, etc., and has broad market prospects. However, the speckle phenomenon caused by the high coherence of laser will seriously affect the display image quality and human eye fatigue. Laser speckle is one of the main factors that seriously hinder the development and application of laser display. Therefore, how to reduce or eliminate speckle and how to measure and evaluate the effect of speckle elimination has become a very important research content and technical problem in the ...
