Abstract

The invention discloses a Doppler estimation method based on measurement of a carrier frequency of a direct sequence spread spectrum signal. The method comprises the following steps of adopting a pseudorandom sequence to carry out spread spectrum modulation on single-frequency CW (Continuous Wave) pulses; forming an emission signal after power amplification is carried out on a spread spectrum modulation signal; sending the emission signal into water through a transmitting transducer; enabling a receiving end to receive the signal by utilizing a hydrophone, carry out time synchronization on the receiving signal by utilizing a copy correlator after the signal is filtered and amplified, and carry out de-spread processing on the receiving signal by utilizing a local pseudorandom sequence after time synchronization is detected; measuring a frequency value by utilizing a high-resolution computing method after low-pass filtering is carried out on the de-spread signal; and estimating a Doppler coefficient according to the frequency value and an original carrier frequency value. The method has the advantage of high estimation precision.
