Abstract

The preparation method comprises the following steps of selecting 30 Baicheng fatty cocks with black feathers and at the age of 120 days and 30 Baicheng fatty hens with black feathers and at the age of 120 days; detecting polymorphism of a second exon of H-FABP and the content of intramuscular fat (IMF) in the pectoralis; and analyzing the relation between the polymorphism of the second exon of the H-FABP and the content of the intramuscular fat in the pectoralis. An experiment shows that the prepared genetic marker selects the Baicheng fatty chicken with the high intramuscular fat content in the pectoralis.
