Abstract

The invention discloses a cutting seedling raising method of hard branches of mulberries. The method comprises steps of selecting mulberries; cutting the selected branches into small segment of cuttings, wherein each segment of small cuttings contains two mulberry sprouts; dipping the cut small cuttings in 25% carbendazim diluted by 500 times for a short while; arranging horizontally placing the cuttings in the groove at an interval of 10-15cm, and arranging the mulberry sprouts of each of the cuttings on two sides in the upmost position as far as possible; covering the cuttings with soil; after the cuttings sprout, timely stripping needless mulberry sprouts so as to ensure only one of the mulberry sprouts of each of the cuttings can grow, and removing the other mulberry sprout; and after the new branches of the mulberries stretch out of 10cm, spreading human and animal dung, and after the new branches grow to more than 30cm, dressing manure or compound fertilizer. According to the invention, branches of mulberries in spring and winter are used and directly cut after antiseptic treatment without any rooting agent; the method is simple and easy to operate; survival rate is high; seedling growing period is long; and cultivation of strong seedlings can be benefited.
