The invention discloses a method for estimating a non-Newtonian index of a resin material by utilizing an injection molding machine. The method comprises the following steps: arranging a pressure sensor in the injection molding machine to measure integral total pressure drop data in the injection molding machine and calculating theoretical pressure drop of each position according to the dimension of each part on the injection molding machine and an adaptor; and carrying out linear fitting to obtain the non-Newtonian index of the material. The method is convenient in operation and simple in step flow; and results obtained by virtue of the linear fitting are high in accuracy. The method is used for the field of injection molding.
