Abstract

The invention relates to a short-term marker pen for animals. The short-term marker pen can be used for conducting short-term marking on animals in the feeding and management process including immunity, artificial insemination, stall-based separation and the like of pigs, cattle, sheep and other large domestic livestock. The short-term marker pen comprises a main marking portion and a solid gum screwing-out container tube. The main marking portion is prepared from appropriate amounts of raw materials as follows: pigment, castor oil, palm oil, vaseline, paraffin wax, beewax, microcrystalline wax, carnauba wax, kaolin, calcium carbonate, emulsifier OP-10, propyl paraben and butyl paraben. The invention further relates to a preparation process of the marker pen. Marks can be directly made on the pelages of animals by using the marker pen, and after the pen is used, the made marks are bright in color and obvious to distinguish, can rapidly play the marking effect, will gradually fade and shed as time goes on with growth and activity of the animals, are non-toxic and harmless and will be thoroughly removed in four weeks without manual cleaning for removal.
