The invention relates to a
hand tool and a manufacturing method, in particular to
pipe pliers and a manufacturing method. The
pipe pliers comprise a movable jaw, a fixed jaw, an adjusting nut and a pliers
handle. The
pipe pliers are characterized in that: the pliers
handle consists of
glass fiber reinforced
polyamide 66 and an insert embedded into the
glass fiber reinforced
polyamide 66; the insert is in a
symmetric structure and is designed in transverse H-shaped variable section and equal strength along the axis of the pliers
handle, the insert has reinforcing effect on the stress concentrated section of the pipe pliers, and the rigidity and the strength of the nylon pliers handle are reinforced; a web plate at the transverse H-shaped part of the insert is provided with multiple holes, and nylon is filled into the holes during injection molding, so that the
bonding strength of the insert and the nylon can be reinforced and tearing is prevented during working; the insert can be conveniently positioned in a die during injection molding and
machining; and the manufacturing method comprises the following steps of: insert
casting or profile blanking, insert de-burring and filleting, surface treatment such as insert shot blasting and the like, insert
coupling treatment, insert preheating, positioning and
assembly of the insert in the die, injection molding, cooling, boiling, spraying, pipe pliers
assembly and detection.
