Abstract

The invention discloses a method for mining frequent episodes of a signal sequence with time constraint. The method comprises the following steps of: generating a signal sequence from signal data, reading the minimum support degree and the maximum time interval threshold value set by a user, generating 1- frequent episode sets, generating K+1- frequent candidate episode sets by using the 1- frequent episode sets and K- frequent episode sets, and screening out frequent episodes satisfying time constraint from the candidate episode sets by constructing an episode tree. The steps of generating high-order candidate episodes from low-order episodes and obtaining the frequent episodes by screening can be carried out repetitively; mining of all frequent episodes of the signal sequence is realized; episode time span constraint is added into a frequent episode mining process; and thus, the frequent episodes obtained by mining in the invention have relatively high practical reference value and applicability.
