Abstract

The invention provides a tracking and identifying method for a terminal hiding an MAC address during scanning. The method comprises that 1) a label is generated aimed at the scanning MAC address of the terminal, and the label is used to identifying one-to-one correspondence between the terminal and an AP; 2) the label and an access MAC address from the terminal are received; and 3) according to the label, the terminal which hides the MAC address is determined. According to the invention, the terminal which hides the real MAC address is tracked and identified, and the MAC address used by the terminal during scanning is associated with the MAC address of the terminal, and terminal position based smart application is supported.
