The invention provides an electric cloth airing machine. The electric cloth airing machine comprises a main engine fixed on a ceiling and a frame body connected with the main engine. The main engine comprises a shell and a power assembly. The power assembly comprises a fixed plate, a driving component and a controller. The driving component is arranged on the fixed plate and connected with the frame body. The controller is used for receiving and processing external control signals and outputting corresponding control commands to the driving component so as to control lifting of the frame body. The driving component comprises a motor, winding reels, hauling ropes and rope pressers. The winding reels are driven by the motor. Two ends of each hauling rope are respectively connected with the corresponding winding reel and the frame body. The rope pressers wrap the winding reels in a half-encircling manner. Winding grooves are formed in the winding reels. One ends of the hauling ropes are embedded in the winding grooves. A yielding gap allowing the corresponding hauling rope to penetrate through is formed in each rope presser, and a rope pressing shaft rotatably pressing the corresponding winding grooves is arranged on the side, of the yielding gap, of the sidewall of each rope presser. The electric cloth airing machine has the advantages that friction damage of the hauling ropes (like steel ropes) during use can be avoided, and a twisting prevention function is realized.
