Abstract

The invention relates to a system and a method for detecting the elasticity of livestock and poultry meat as well as fruits and vegetables. The system comprises an elasticity detection device, a control box and an upper computer. A control system is arranged in the control box and is used for responding an operating signal transmitted by the upper computer and controlling the rotating speed and the rotating direction of a stepping motor so as to control ascending and descending of a lifting platform; and a pressure signal acquired by a pressure sensor is received and transformed into a digital signal, and the digital signal is transmitted to the upper computer. The upper computer performs data processing on the received digital signal, displays in a curve form and stores detection data in the elasticity detection process. The system adopts integrated modularized design, the control system is separated from a hardware structure, all parts are connected through serial port lines, and the system is easy to carry, install-and-play and low in cost. The pressure sensor is arranged downwards, so the detection precision is improved. The system is simple to operate, the output result is intuitive and easy to understand, and real-time displaying can be realized; meanwhile, the measured detection data can be stored for subsequent data analysis.
