Abstract

The device comprises a high-speed camera, an infrared photoelectric sensor, an air cylinder controller, an air cylinder set, an article collecting frame corresponding to each air cylinder and a control system. The control system controls the high-speed camera to collect the image of an article in real time. The image region of the article is extracted according to the background subtraction method, and the main tone of the article is determined by means of the clustering method. The color difference between the image of the article collected in real time and images in an established image library respectively, and then the color classification of the current article is figured out according to the principle that the color difference is the minimum. After that, whether the article is qualified or not is judged. The control system pushes the article into the corresponding article collecting frame by the air cylinder according to the judging result. The method and the device are high in automation degree and easy to operate. Products of the same kind and different colors can be quickly and accurately classified.
