Abstract

The invention discloses a river water quality evaluation method based on multiple parameter indexes. According to the method, river water quality is evaluated and graded on the basis of a WQI (water quality index) and with WQImin as an index. The fact that WQImin containing NH4-N, CODMn, NO3-N, DO (dissolved oxygen) and tur (turbidity) is in significant positive correlation with the WQI is discovered, so that WQImin containing NH4-N, CODMn, NO3-N, DO and tur can be adopted to constitute WQImin to replace the original WQI obtained by calculating numerous parameters required to be determined, and rapid evaluation and type classification of river water quality can be realized.
