Through adjustment of the cuttage period, the selection and special treatment of rooting liquid, cutting matrix and cutting slips, strict control of cuttage environment, selection of cutting slips with big degree of lignification, and use of a double-layered arched shed film and a sunshade net, the method can preserve humidity and reduce temperature, thus the success rate of the cutting propagation of Japan cuckoo in the summer high temperature area is greatly improved.
