The method comprises the following steps: creating a texture index of a three-dimensional model according to a currently used image processing environment, and obtaining a mapping mode of the three-dimensional model; performing adaption processing on collected image data in a YUV format according to the data format supported by the three-dimensional model, wherein in the adaption processing process, adapted image data are obtained by searching a two-dimensional table, and the two-dimensional table is obtained after performing shift operation on the source data of a YUV format video frame in the image data in the YUV format; and loading the adapted image data to a video memory by using the texture index, and mapping the vein data to the three-dimensional model according to a mapping mode. By adoption of the method and apparatus, the technical problem that the image data in the YUV format cannot be smoothly played on the three-dimensional model in related art is solved.
