Abstract

The invention discloses an active composition based on nonanal and n-caprylic alcohol. The active composition comprises the following components in parts by weight: 2 to 20 parts of nonanal, 60 to 95parts of n-caprylic alcohol and 0 to 25 parts of 2-hexanone. The invention further comprises a chilo suppressalis attractant composed of the active composition and a non-volatile organic solvent, anda chilo suppressalis lure for packaging the chilo suppressalis attractant into an isotropic wire. The active composition provided by the invention can directly lure male and female chilo suppressalis,the control efficiency for chilo suppressalis is higher than that of a sex attractant, and the active composition can be used for mass trap, so that the quantity of chilo suppressalis adults can be obviously reduced, and the population density of offspring is reduced. The active composition can be applied to chilo suppressalis forecasting, and the quantity of trapped insects can accurately forecast the occurrence dynamics of chilo suppressalis population.
