Abstract

Embodiments of the invention provide a data forwarding method and device based on social similarity and individual centrality of nodes. The method is applied to Internet of Things and the Internet ofThings comprises a plurality of mobile nodes. The method comprises the steps that a current mobile node uses a law of universal gravitation to determine a next-hop mobile node; the individual centrality values of the current mobile node and the next-hop mobile node respectively represent the mass in the law of universal gravitation; a social similarity value between the current mobile node and thenext-hop mobile node represents a distance in the law of universal gravitation; the individual centrality value and the social similarity value are determined based on the meeting frequency and the similarity between the current mobile node and the next-hop mobile node; and the current mobile node transmits to-be-forwarded data to the next-hop mobile node. According to the embodiments of the invention, the data forwarding performance is improved, so that the Internet of Things has a high data delivery rate, low delay, low message transmission average hop count, low message transmission failure rate and low energy consumption in application.
