Abstract

The system comprises at least four scintillator detectors which are discretely distributed and configured in atwo-dimensional or three-dimensional space; a camera which is arranged at the edge of the space area and used for performing video image photographing of the space; an industrial control computer which is connected with the scintillator detectors and the camera and used for acquiring the counting rate and the energy spectrum detected by the scintillator detectors to realize nuclide identification, locating and surface dose rate calculation of the radioactive source; and a terminal machine which is connected with the industrial control computer and used for transformation of the three-dimensional locating coordinates and the two-dimensional video image coordinates, fusion of the radioactive source icon and the video image and storage and display of the video image and the radioactive source parameters. The gamma radioactive source augmented reality method and system have the advantages of accurate locating of the radioactive source, nuclide identification, surface dose rate calculation, continuous tracking and visual real-time image display.
