The exhaust-fan target detection unit is used for detecting the vehicle area image and identifying an exhaust fan. The target image similarity judgement module is usedfor comparing feature vectors of exhaust-fan images. The statistical analysis module judges a detected structure according to checking criteria, and returns a reason of checking failure. The system and method are mainly applied to refitted-exhaust-fan detection of the car in vehicle annual-inspection of motor vehicles, realize entire-process automatic-checking in a detection process, can return afailed detected image and the reason to a server at the same time to save the same for later evidence collecting, save manpower, and also guarantee fairness and openness of checking work.
