Abstract

Feasible and effective approaches have not been reported for handling traffic jam and overcoming difficulties in driving and parking. The integrated overheadcrossing provided by the invention is composed of ground-level roads, an encircling platform, overpass bridges, underground passageways and stereo parking garages. According to the invention, a planarcrossing of a road is reconstructed into the overhead crossing, so the phenomenon that vehicles have to queue in sequence at the crossing is overcome and the vehicles are allowed to travel smoothly;the stereo parking garages are constructed in matching with the reconstruction of the planar crossing into the overhead crossing, so a flexible parking environment is created for the vehicles and difficulties in parking are overcome; and the overhead crossing is built in the original range of the road without any extension in area, so in particular, no house is to be tear down in the project of reconstruction of the planar crossings of urban roads into the overhead crossings.
