The present invention discloses a planning method of an electric vehicle fast-charging station on an expressway. The planning method comprises: step 1, predicting spatial-temporal distribution of a charging load of an electric vehicle, that is, determining a position and a time for charging each electric vehicle on the expressway; step 2, determining an address of the fast-charging station by using a shared type nearest neighbor clustering algorithm according to a prediction result of the spatial-temporal distribution of the charging load of the electric vehicle; and step 3, determining a quantity C of chargers in the fast-charging station by using a queuing theory according to the prediction result of the spacial-temporal distribution of the charging load of the electric vehicle and the determined address of the fast-charging station. Because of battery characteristics, a gasoline station of a traditional vehicle does not perfectly fit the fast-charging station. In the planning method, locating and sizing is performed by considering the position and the time for charging the electric vehicle, and compared with a position of a traditional gasoline station, the position of the fast-charging station can greatly meet a charging requirement of the electric vehicle, thereby promoting development of the electric vehicle.
