The invention relates to a PLC module dual-mode dynamic switching system and a switching method thereof, and the system comprises a main node module, a sub-node module, a hardware pin, a mode switching module and a nonvolatile memory. Two kinds of core working mode functions are provided through the main node module and the child node module respectively, external signals are received through hardware pins, a level triggering instruction is output, and dynamic switching of double modes is completed in real time through the mode switching module according to the level signals. In combination with the partition storage design of the nonvolatile memory, independent and reliable calling of the corresponding mode configuration parameters is guaranteed, flexible switching of the PLC module between the main node working mode and the sub-node working mode is effectively achieved, dependence on traditional recompiling and burning operation is not needed, the mode changing process is remarkably simplified, and the working efficiency is improved.
