The present invention relates to targeted delivery systems for delivering therapeutic agents to tumor. The invention further relates to methods of delivering a therapeutic agent to a tumor for the prevention and treatment of cancer by killing tumor cells and tumor-associated endothelial cells. In particular, the present invention provides a tumor-targeted drug delivery system comprising a NGR-containing molecule linked to a delivery vehicle encapsulating a therapeutic agent, preferably a drug, such as a cytotoxic agent or a chemotherapeutic agent. Specifically, the delivery systems of the present invention are capable of delivering an increased amount of therapeutic agent to a tumor as compared to other delivery systems. In particular, the delivery systems of the present invention are capable of accumulating a higher amount of therapeutic agent in a tumor, or in the vicinity of a tumor cell or tumor-supporting cell, resulting in exposure of the tumor cell and tumor-associated endothelial cell to therapeutic levels of the agent for a longer period of time as compared to other delivery systems. The present invention also describes pharmaceutical compositions comprising the delivery systems of the present invention. The present invention further relates to a tumor treatment comprising an increased amount of therapeutic agent delivered by the system of the present invention as compared to other delivery systems. The delivery systems and pharmaceutical compositions can be administered to a subject, preferably a human, alone or in combination, sequentially or simultaneously, with other prophylactic or therapeutic agents and/or anti-cancer treatments.

The method includes the steps that tobacco powder, tobacco stem and fragmentary tobacco pieces are immersed in water to obtain mixed slurry, and the mixed slurry is extracted and separated to obtain soluble tobacco fiber and non soluble tobacco fiber; mixed beating is conducted to the non soluble tobacco fiber and calcium carbonate to obtain slurry material, outer fiber and chitosan are added to the obtained slurry material to obtain slurry material before pulping after being evenly mixed, and the slurry material before pulping is manufactured into a substrate in a pulped mode; evaporation and concentration, and fragrance adding and tinting are conducted on the obtained soluble tobacco fiber to obtain coating liquid with relative density ranging from 1.102 to 1.325; the coating liquid is sprayed on the substrate, and finally after drying and slicing up are conducted, the reconstituted tobacco is obtained. The method for improving the calcium carbonate retention rate through adding the calcium carbonate before pulp beating is simple and practical, the prepared reconstituted tobacco is better in coating rate and calcium carbonate retention rate than the reconstituted tobacco prepared through an existing technology, the quality of the reconstituted tobacco is not influenced, and popularization and application in actual production are facilitated.

The invention relates to a method for increasing the retention rate of calcium carbonate in paper-process reconstituted tobacco sheets. The purpose of the invention is to solve the problems that: since the prior art directly adds calcium carbonate, the bonding force between the calcium carbonate and tobacco fibers is weak, as a result, loss is severe, the material utilization rate is low, the amount of waste water to be treated is large, and the treatment cost is high. The technical point is that: needed chemical constituents are extracted from tobacco material, residue is ground into pulp after extraction, and the concentration of the pulp is regulated between 3 percent and 25 percent; the solution of soluble carbonate accounting for 4 percent to 40 percent of the weight of dry fibers in the pulp is added into the pulp, and is fully stirred and uniformly mixed, and impregnation is then carried out for 20 to 150 minutes, so that the fibers of the pulp can be impregnated with the soluble carbonate; the solution of soluble calcium salt, the molar mass of which is approximately equal to the molar mass of the soluble carbonate, is added into the impregnated pulp, and is fully stirred and uniformly mixed, static reaction is then carried out for 30 to 180 minutes, and the reaction temperature is controlled at 5 DEG C to 50 DEG C; and after the static reaction, the pulp is made into reconstituted tobacco sheets by papermaking equipment.
