Abstract

The present invention discloses an electronic system and a method for executing power source management to the electronic system. The electronic system comprises a plurality of main power sources, a secondary power source, and a power source management unit which is coupled with the plurality of power sources and the secondary power source. The plurality of main power sources can charge the secondary power source. The power source management unit selectively transmits the electrical energy of each main power source to the system load according to the electrical energy requirement of system load. The power source management unit outputs the electrical energy of second power source to the system load when the electrical energy requirement of system load exceeds the total electrical energy of main power sources thereby preventing electrical energy halt of system load. Furthermore the charging requirement of secondary power source under different charging period or charging mode can be satisfied.
