Abstract

The invention relates to a parking brake device for a motor vehicle transmission having a base, comprising: a parking brake wheel (14) with a locking toothing (141), a pawl (12) which is pivotable about a pawl pivot axis (20) between a free position and an engagement position and, in the engagement position, engages in the locking toothing (141) and, in the free position, is disengaged from the locking toothing (141) and is spring-prestressed in the direction of the free position, a securing element (22) by means of which the pawl (12) can be secured in the free position by an active portion (221) of the securing element (22) engaging under spring-prestress behind an edge of the pawl (12), and an actuating mechanism (26, 28), by means of which, in the secured free position of the pawl (12), the securing element (22) is transferable from its engaging-behind position, and, by advance of an actuating element (26), the pawl (12) released in this manner is pivotable into its engagement position and is lockable there. The invention is distinguished in that the securing element is designed as a wire snap-type clip (22) which is coupled to a base-mounted support element (24), is pivotableparallel to the pawl and has an apex portion (221) and, on both sides of the apex portion (221), has a clip arm (222, 224), the free arm ends (226) of which, angled in an opposed manner to each otherand offset parallel to each other, are secured on the support element (24).
