Abstract

The invention provides a developer container and an image forming apparatus. The developer container includes a container main body, a rotating member, and a position regulating portion. The rotary member has both ends in the axial direction rotatably supported by the pair of side walls. The position restricting portion is provided on the container body so as to cover a part of the rotating member. The rotating member includes a large-diameter portion and a small-diameter portion. The large-diameter portion is formed to have an outer diameter that is rotatable about an axis inside the position restricting portion. The small-diameter portion is formed to have a smaller outer diameter than the large-diameter portion. The position restricting portion includes a cutout portion that restricts passage of the large-diameter portion and allows passage of the small-diameter portion. The small-diameter portion is arranged axially offset from inside the position regulating portion, and the large-diameter portion is arranged inside the position regulating portion. According to the present invention, detachment of the rotating member is suppressed, and easy assembly of the rotating member is ensured.
