Abstract

According to the analysis method, after certain cuproauride in eastern Hubei is floated and graded, a main rock phase in filter pressing tailings discharged into a tailing reservoir is identified through adopting an MLA test; the tailings are prepared from six minerals including calcite, quartz, siderite, chlorite, andradite and potassium feldspar, which account for 70 percent or more of the total weight; the calcite, the quartz, the andradite and the potassium feldspar do not contain the zinc element; the zinc element in the tailings mainly exists in the chlorite, the ratio reaches 67.13 percent and thezinc element mainly exists in a micro-size fraction of -15mu m; the content ratios of the zinc element in the other minerals are as follows in sequence: 18.23 percent in the siderite, 11.30 percent in spinel, 2.75 percent in sphalerite and 0.59 percent in limonite.
