The methodsolves the problem that an existing method for improving the carbonate-type saline-alkaline land has a poor improvement effect and complicated means. The method comprises the steps of equally dividingthe saline-alkaline land into several saline-alkaline land units, building a dam at the edges, digging a ditch in the outer side of the dam, laying water collection branch pipes and water collectionmain pipes in a soil layer, and forming water outlets of the water collection main pipes in a water collection pool outside the saline-alkaline land; planting forage grass or saline-alkaline-tolerancecrops in each saline-alkaline land unit, selecting a pond, afterwards, stocking fingerlings, putting feed, managing culture, regulating and controlling the water quality, and utilizing pond water forsoil irrigation and washing. The method integrates regulation and control of the water quality through biological floccules, scientific oxygen aeration and scientific feeding, and the purpose that bottom mud of the pond is restored, the alkalinity of the saline-alkaline land is reduced, the water quality environment of the pond is improved, and putting of feed in the culture process is lowered.
