An injector (1) comprising: a casing (6) having an inlet mouth (7) for a gas fuel and an outlet mouth (8); an anchor (10) arranged in the casing (6) and provided with a shutter (23); elastic means (25) acting on a first portion (30) of the anchor (10) spaced from the shutter (23); and an electromagnet (11) selectively activated to generate a magnetic field on the anchor (10) opposite to the forcegenerated by the elastic means (25); the electromagnet (11) comprises a core (32) and a coil wound (33) on the core (32); the anchor (10) is movable between a closing configuration, in which the shutter (23) engages the outlet mouth (8), and an opening configuration; the elastic means (25) keep the anchor (10) in the closing configuration and the electromagnet (11) is selectively activated to movethe anchor (10) to the opening configuration; the injector further comprises positioning means (31, 39) of the anchor (10) inside the casing (6) defining, in the opening configuration, an air gap between the core (32) and a second portion (40) of the anchor (10) facing the core (32) itself and distinct from the first portion (30).
