Abstract

The invention provides a method for predicting capacity diving during battery aging, and relates to the technical field of batteries. The method comprises the following steps: firstly obtaining an OCV-discharge capacity curve and a slope turning point of the new battery, and obtaining an internal resistance of the new battery; then obtaining the relationship between the internal resistance and thenumber of cycles in the aging process of a same type of battery as the new battery, obtaining an OCV-discharge capacity curve and a slope turning point of the battery during the aging, and simultaneously obtaining the discharge curve and slope turning point of a given discharge schedule of the battery during the aging; and if the slope turning point of the discharge curve reaches a discharge lower limit cutoff voltage, determining that the capacity diving of the battery will occur during the subsequent aging under the given discharge schedule. The method provided by the invention can be usedto predict early whether a capacity diving will occur during aging of the battery, and to better use the battery during the entire life cycle of the battery.
