Abstract

The invention discloses a quota management method for a distributed storage system, and the quota management method comprises the steps: analyzing a quota data structure of a quota setting request toobtain quota information when receiving the quota setting request sent by a first client; storing the quota information into a quota information queue cached by an MDS, and generating a quota creationmessage according to the quota information queue; and broadcasting the quota creation message to all the clients in the distributed storage system. According to the method, the frequency of interaction between the client and the MDS server in the quota setting process can be reduced, and MDS resources are saved. The invention also discloses a quota management system of the distributed storage system, a computer readable storage medium and electronic equipment, which have the above beneficial effects.
