Problems solved by technology

However, additional pattern recognition algorithms or hardware detection circuits need to be designed to accurately identify the conduction mode of the converter in real time, which undoubtedly increases the difficulty of implementation or the complexity of hardware circuits
In addition, predictive control has technical advantages such as high dynamic response and clear physical concepts. However, predictive control is essentially a model-dependent control method, and it also has the disadvantage of being sensitive to converter parameter changes and internal and external disturbances.

Abstract

The invention relates to a model-free predictive current control system of a Boost PFC converter and a control method thereof. The control system includes a Boost PFC converter system, a current inner-loop control module, and a voltage outer-loop control module. The method realizes adaptive modeling of the converter running in different conduction modes by establishing a unified super-local modelbased on real-time update, and then designs a matched model-free predictive current controller, thereby not only improving the robustness of the parametric variation and the internal and external disturbances of the converter, but also avoiding additional pattern recognition algorithms or hardware detection circuits, increasing the dynamic response speed of the current control loop, improving thecurrent control performance of the converter in light and medium load operating conditions.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of Boost PFC converters, in particular to a model-free predictive current control system and a control method for Boost PFC converters. Background technique [0002] With the increasing problem of harmonic pollution in the power grid, harmonic suppression standards such as IEC61000-3-2 have continuously strengthened the harmonic current specifications for related equipment injected into the power grid. In order to reduce the harmonic pollution of equipment to the power grid and meet the harmonic suppression requirements, the power factor correction (Power Factor Correction, PFC) converter has been receiving more and more research attention. The average current control (Average Current Control, ACM) Boost converter has the advantages of fast dynamic response and simple structure, and can meet the design requirements of high power density and high efficiency, and has been widely used in power factor correction...
