Problems solved by technology

[0004] For example, in order to be able to apply force with a traditional exoskeleton to raise the arm relative to the torso, it is difficult to transfer the load from the arm to the torso due to the complexity of the motion of the shoulder joint

Embodiment Construction

[0029] The present invention will be described in detail below by way of examples. This description does not limit the scope of the invention. The scope of the invention is defined by the appended claims.

[0030] exist figure 1 , an arm lift support device with a torso support 1 is shown, wherein the torso support 1 is formed, for example, by a rear part 2 (see Figure 5 ) and the front part 3 comprising the first part 3a and the second part 3b. Both parts can be interconnected with the rear part 2 and detachably interconnected at the front. Of course, the torso support 1 can also be configured in other ways.

[0031] At least one artificial tendon 4 extends at least from the pulling point 5, see Image 6 , which is provided at the torso support 1 and connected at the arm attachment tool 6, see figure 1 with 2 . The artificial tendon 4 extends over the shoulder portion 12 of the torso support 1 between the pull point 5 and the arm attachment tool 6 . The shoulder por...

Abstract

An arm lifting support device, comprising a torso support (1), at least one artificial tendon (4) for vertical lifting running at least from a pulling point (5) provided at the torso support, over a shoulder of the user and connected to an arm attachment means (6) for attachment of the at least one artificial tendon at an arm of a user in use, wherein the pulling point is provided in a level abovethe collar bones of the user in use.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an arm lifting support device. Arm lift supports can, for example, assist people with impaired arm function. [0002] It is an object of the present invention to provide a support device for assisting a person with an arm injury. The arm lifting brace should be easy to wear and use in order to enhance the life of the user, allowing the user to perform movements and functions without the assistance of an assisting person. Another object is to provide a support device with a slim design. Background technique [0003] Previously known exoskeleton support devices have relied on harder components attached to the outside of the user's body that mimic bones and how they function within the body. This creates a very bulky support. [0004] For example, in order to be able to apply force through a conventional exoskeleton to raise the arm relative to the trunk, it is difficult to transfer the load from the arm to the trunk due to th...
