Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of communication and particularly is specifically a multi-resonant polarized insensitive reflective coded super surface for reducing a radar cross section(RCS). The super surface unit has rotational symmetry and can produce the same x-polarized and y-polarized electromagnetic scattering responses. In order to achieve the 4-bit phase response, the sizeof the super surface unit is optimized, phase difference among the units is 22.5 DEG, the broadband (15-40GHz) has reflection amplitude exceeding 0.9, and phases of 16 coding states are theta, theta+22.5DEG, theta+45DEG, theta+67.5DEG, theta+90DEG, theta+112.5DEG, theta+135DEG. theta+157.5DEG, theta+180DEG, theta+202.5DEG, theta+225DEG, theta+247.5DEG, theta+270DEG, theta+292.5DEG, theta+315DEG, theta+337.5DEG. A discrete water cycle algorithm is applied to design of an array unit to obtain an optimal code sequence matrix, and better RCS reduction is achieved. The super surface is advantaged in that the RCS of the coded super surface and the same-size copper plate are separately measured for comparison, the measurement result shows that the RCS is reduced by 10 dB at 20-40 GHz, at 15-20 GHz, the RCS is reduced by 7.8 dB.
